Joe Salmen is a Wealth Advisor at Rockport Wealth Advisors who brings a team-first mindset to financial planning. As a former All-American baseball player and current youth sports coach, he believes preparation, discipline, and strong fundamentals lead to better long-term outcomes. He applies that same approach to helping clients navigate important financial decisions with clarity and confidence.
Joe works with individuals, families, and trusts, with a focus on comprehensive financial planning and tax-aware strategies. He helps clients organize the details, evaluate their options, and build coordinated plans that support their retirement, investment, and long-term goals.
Joe earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting from Westminster College. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Outside the office, Joe serves as the Finance Chair and Treasurer on the Executive Committee for the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce. He also enjoys coaching youth sports and staying active in his community.
